Adding Notes to Bids

Bid Notes in Jaket

In Jaket, notes clarify and communicate the nuances of your Bids. To cater to different needs and contexts, Jaket allows for three distinct types of notes to be added to each Bid:

  • Internal Notes - These notes are for your team's eyes only. They can help in distinguishing between multiple Bids within a single Jaket and aid in internal organization and understanding.

  • Summary Page Notes - The first page of the Bid PDF features a summary page that includes a dedicated section for truncated notes. Notes here typically offer a concise overview, ideal for providing a snapshot of the Bid's crucial aspects.

  • Extended Notes - For more detailed commentary on the Bid, the Extended Notes section is available. This area provides basic text formatting options, allowing for a more thorough and structured presentation of your Bid notes.

If the Extended Notes section is left empty, the Extended Notes page will not be generated on your Bid PDF.
