Adding Line Items to a Bid
Bid Templates come pre-populated with Line Items for your convenience. However, these Line Items may not automatically be active. To add them to your bid, manually activate them by checking the corresponding boxes on the left-hand side of the line item.
Activating Line Items
To include a Line Item in your bid, click the checkbox located on the far left of the Line Item. This action activates the Line Item and includes it in your Bid.

Understanding Line Item Status:
Inactive Line Items: Line Items that are not activated (unchecked) will not be included in the bid calculations and will be omitted from the Bid PDF.
Waived Line Items: Waived Line Items are active but are excluded from the bid calculations. These items are included in the bid for informational purposes but do not contribute to the total cost.

Creating a New Line Item in Jaket
Adding a new Line Item to your bid in Jaket is a straightforward process, allowing you to customize and detail the specific costs and components of your project. Here's how to create a new Line Item:
Navigate to the Line Item Group Page: Ensure you are on the page that displays the group of Line Items for the specific bid section you would like to add it to.
Add New Line Item: Look for the ADD NEW ITEM button located at the bottom of the Line Item group page.
Input Line Item Details: Once the new Line Item is created, you'll be able to edit its details. This may include the item's number, name, description, quantity, cost, and any applicable markup.

Line Items are currently sorted by Item Number. Custom sorting options for Line Items are not yet available in Jaket.
